Responsible Gambling

Gambling can cause financial and personal difficulties. It is not a reliable source of income. You must be at least 18 years old to gamble at CrownPlay.

Set limits on money and time

Decide how much money and time you want to spend before you play. Only gamble with money you can afford to lose. Never use money needed for rent, food or other commitments. Do not chase losses by placing more bets, and take regular breaks.

Taking a break and self-exclusion

You can request a break from gambling or self-exclusion from CrownPlay support at [email protected]. State that you wish to exclude yourself because of your gambling behaviour. Your account will be closed once the request has been processed. You must also disclose any other existing accounts and must not open new accounts to bypass the exclusion.

When gambling becomes a problem

Warning signs include gambling with borrowed money, hiding how much you spend or how long you play, and repeatedly trying to win back losses immediately. Neglecting work, family or leisure activities because of gambling can also indicate a problem. Support is available both for people who gamble and for their loved ones.

Independent support

SOS-Spielsucht – Spielen ohne Sucht: In Switzerland, you can call the free, anonymous helpline on 0800 040 080, around the clock.

Protecting minors

Children and young people must not use a CrownPlay account. Do not save login details on shared devices, and log out after playing. Parental-control filters can also help restrict access to gambling websites.
